Wake-Up Call – The 6 am Experiment

I have already noted that this site is one of exploration, so what better way to test practical strategies than do some experiments!

It is the start of a new year and I’m still a beginner in adopting The Keys to Optimal Living to my life, so I thought I would start with a simple experiment. One of my main goals this month is to focus on productivity and time management. I wanted to improve these skills early because I know I’ll need them to be successful for the rest of the year.

The first experiment… I call it Wake-Up Call.

 

I have a terrible habit of hitting the snooze button because I can’t get up in the morning. I have a hard time falling asleep, and in doing my research for The Top Tips For An Improved, Deep Sleep, I learned one of the most important elements to great sleep is waking up at the same time every morning. I will follow this advice and set my alarm for 6 am for the rest of the month.

I plan to use this extra, quiet time to work toward my goals and this blog. As it is an experiment I will keep some notes and evaluate the results at end of the month.

 

So wish me luck on my first experiment… off to the lab I go!

  1. I’ll be keeping an eye on this as I too have trouble getting to sleep and waking up in the morning and have no idea where to start in regards to a steady sleep pattern.
